Tax Day is here! Instead of completely splurging your refund money, why not spend some of it on a worthwhile crowdfunding campaign that could make a difference in someone’s life. Not Impossible Now rounded up some of the campaigns that we recently featured on the site for you to consider:
Embrace Innovations launched their new Little Lotus warming blankets and swaddles for the U.S. market on Kickstarter this week. “For every Little Lotus product purchased, $25 will go towards Embrace’s nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization in order to help a baby in need,” the company says on their website. A greenhouse designed by the organization Roots Up has dual benefits when water is scarce: It can water itself and produce safe drinking water. The design was inspired by the plight of Ethiopian farmers who often struggle with little to no rainfall for six months at a time. Visit their Indiegogo page to learn more.
Help the Success Kid’s Father
The “Success Kid” is back, and the meme he sparked is helping to save his dad, who is struggling with kidney failure. Visit the Griner family’s GoFundMe page to find out how you can help.
What the great outdoors offers in tranquility, it lacks in electrical outlets. Blue Freedom wants to solve this modern day dilemma with the “the world’s smallest hydropower plant,” which promises to offer renewable energy through flowing water. Visit their Kickstarter page to learn more.
