Smartwatches are great, but certainly weren't designed with fashion in mind. So, what do you do if you are both fashionable and tech-savvy? Glance has the answer.
Glance is a device that turns your regular old timepiece into a smartwatch. From the team responsible for Kiwi Wearables, Glance fits under your watchband. It has a small OLED display and a basic LED notifier light, as well as 3D motion detection and Bluetooth 4.0. It provides users information like caller display and inbound messages using Spritz-powered speed reading.
Glance currently works with Android and iOS, but might develop apps for Blackberry and Windows phones as well. It's waterproof up to 5 ATM, and comes in three different sizes, depending on the width of your watch strap. The developers say it can be worn all day without any discomfort.
The makers of Glance are currently looking for funding through a Kickstarter campaign. They have a goal of $150,000 by July 3rd. At the time of this writing, they have raised less than $40,000.
