The Brainwriter made its debut at the Barbican Centre in London thanks to a large team of volunteers and generous tech-donors, inspired by TemptOne, and heralding the arrival of more tech for the sake of humanity.

The Brainwriter, an extension of Not Impossible’s Eyewriter Project for graffiti artist TemptOne, launched at the Barbican’s “Digital Revolution” exhibition on July 3 2014, its novel combination of brainwave sensors & eye-tracking technology enables the paralyzed to create & communicate!

The BrainWriter system utilizes an eye-tracker for navigating a computer mouse across the screen PLUS an EEG headset that assigns click or key instructions to calibrated thought patterns, or brainwaves.
